What do I do about travel and accomodation?

Map of Rothersthorpe

By car- Rothersthorpe is just off Jct. 15A of the M1. Follow the signs from the exit slip road towards Northampton. At the first roundabout that isn't to do with the motorway, the village is signposted - drive through the new housing and industrial developments and take the second turning on the left (Church Street). The village hall is on the left, practically opposite the church, and is housed in the same building as the school.

Public Transport - trains and coaches both run to Northampton - buses are very infrequent, the first one to the village on a Saturday being around lunchtime. Taxis are, therefore, de riguer (cost around £6 or £7).

Accommodation - contact the Northampton Tourist Board on (01604) 622677 or you could try the Blisworth Hotel on (01604) 859551.

Meals - pubs in the surrounding villages serve food, but an idea of numbers would be very useful. There is no village shop in Rothersthorpe, so do not expect to be able to buy your own food in the village.
