Aidan Sheehan provides harmonica lessons at his Cardiff Harmonica Club, in the downstairs lounge at Whitchurch Rugby, Sports & Social Club, Samuels Crescent, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 2TH. Folk Club night is every second Tuesday of the month, 8.00 pm -11.00 pm, £2.00. You will find all styles of Folk, Roots and Blues music and dance therein. Harmonicas feature each time there is a club night. - Aidan has a PGCE teaching qualification and given harmonica lessons/workshops and harmonica talks in various places across Wales and England (sometimes in Holland and Ireland). Since the 1990s I has run harmonica lessons in a variety of Welsh colleges/schools (14 of them), at music festivals, also for a wide-variety of community projects, for several training organisations, many businesses (Team-bulding), Clubs (Round Table, Womens' Institute, Freemasons), on the radio (BRFM) to specific learning groups. Daytime and evening classes (and private tuition) available at different times/locations throughout the year in South Wales, The Welsh Marches and rural Herefordshire. The Scots Moothie Group has grown from the ALP Scots Music Group Moothie Class in Edinburgh. The Group meet every two weeks, usually on Mondays, in Sandy Bell's pub to play many of the tunes listed below. The link gives some of the repertoire as well as dates for sessions or meetings.
