- Bracknell South-Hill-Park Blues Jammers and Music Club - an active group of harmonica players and other instrumentalists. The harmonica players meet every other Monday evening for a mixture of tuition and playing with guitar accompanyment. Peter Wheat is a founder member. Check the link for dates when it meets. The Sutton Blues Collective - Good Hope Hospital Social Club, Bedford Rd., Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands - meets on the second Wednesday of every month. It's a club for devotees of acoustic blues, mainly guitar, but harmonica players are more than welcome to sit in and jam along with them. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Adult harmonica lessons will commence on Thursday April 5th, 2007 and will be held as usual at the Old Schoolhouse Arts
centre, School lane, off Swan Street, Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taff,
Wales. Six separate one hour long workshops will run each Thursday until May 10th. The six week course (1 hour lessons) will cost £40.00 with a reduction in fees of £10.00 per person will be made for disabled, retired and unwaged (i.e. all six lessons for £30.00). Course fees are payable in full by cash or cheque at commencement of course on April 5th 2007.
Bring along a fully working 10 hole harp in "C". Theme of all
six lessons will be "Bluegrass harmonica". Friendly environment, you don't have to be an expert, and
everyone welcome.
