In the October magazine we ran an article on how Band In a Box(BIAB) can be used to make backing tracks. An essential tool for any musician.
A sample backing track was used in the magazine article: After You've Gone (you need Band In A Box to view this file).

There will also be a workshop at this year's Harmonica 2005 run by Colin Mort. I myself (the webmaster) heard about BIAB from Colin & have been hooked ever since.

What is Band In a Box? A quote from the the pgmusic website tells all:

"The award-winning Band-in-a-Box is so easy to use! Just type in the chords for any song using standard chord symbols (like C, Fm7 or C13b9), choose the style you'd like, and Band-in-a-Box does the rest!

Band-in-a-Box automatically generates a complete professional quality arrangement of piano, bass, drums, guitar and strings in a wide variety of popular styles. (Jazz, Pop, Country, Classical and more.)
